A rapidly evolving financial technology business in Estonia is looking for a Digital Banking Product Director to lead the strategic development of modern banking experiences across digital channels.

The successful candidate will take ownership of product direction from market discovery through execution and continuous optimisation. This role requires a combination of financial-services knowledge, product leadership, commercial awareness, and a strong understanding of technology.

The Opportunity

You will shape products that simplify how customers manage accounts, payments, transfers, cards, and other digital financial services. Working alongside technology, design, compliance, operations, and commercial teams, you will establish priorities and ensure that product investments generate measurable customer and business value.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the long-term digital banking product vision.
• Build and manage a strategic product roadmap based on customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives.
• Lead product discovery, prioritisation, requirements definition, and delivery planning.
• Work closely with engineering and UX teams to deliver intuitive and scalable digital experiences.
• Analyse customer behaviour, product performance, market developments, and competitive dynamics.
• Establish measurable KPIs for adoption, engagement, retention, transaction activity, and product performance.
• Coordinate product initiatives involving payments, accounts, cards, onboarding, and digital financial services.
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, legal, and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Present investment proposals, product strategies, and performance updates to senior leadership.
• Develop a strong product culture based on experimentation, customer insight, data, and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, payments, financial services, or technology products.
• Proven experience leading complex digital products from concept to market.
• Strong understanding of banking and payment products and their underlying technology.
• Excellent product strategy, commercial analysis, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with agile engineering and multidisciplinary product teams.
• Strong analytical ability and a data-driven approach to product decisions.
• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
