Role Summary

The Digital Banking Product Configuration Specialist will manage the configuration and operational administration of banking products across digital financial platforms. The position involves translating product requirements into system configurations, maintaining accurate product parameters and supporting the implementation of new banking features.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, software engineers, banking operations and compliance specialists to ensure that digital banking products are configured correctly and operate according to approved business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure digital banking products, account features and associated service parameters within banking platforms.

• Support the setup and maintenance of savings accounts, current accounts and other supported financial products.

• Translate approved product specifications into practical system configuration requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of product settings, transaction limits, fees and applicable service conditions.

• Coordinate with software development teams during product configuration and implementation activities.

• Participate in testing new banking features before their release to customers.

• Review existing product configurations and identify inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.

• Support changes to account functionality, transaction settings and customer banking permissions.

• Investigate product-related system issues and coordinate their resolution with relevant technical teams.

• Ensure that product configurations remain consistent with approved business rules and operational procedures.

• Maintain documentation covering product configurations, system changes and implementation processes.

• Assist with product launches, updates and digital banking platform enhancements.

• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure that relevant product requirements are reflected in system settings.

• Monitor product performance and communicate configuration-related issues to stakeholders.

• Recommend improvements that simplify banking product administration and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in digital banking, banking operations, financial product administration or fintech.

• Understanding of banking products, account structures and digital financial services.

• Familiarity with banking software platforms and product configuration processes.

• Knowledge of transaction limits, account parameters, banking fees and financial product workflows.

• Experience with system testing, business requirements documentation or application configuration is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent attention to detail when managing financial product information.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple implementation activities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
