Coordinator — Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

An opportunity is available for a highly organized Coordinator to support internal communications and employee-engagement activities within a modern office environment. The role is designed for a professional who can coordinate information across departments, develop internal communication materials, organize employee activities, and help create an informed and collaborative workplace.

The successful candidate will work with management, human-resources teams, department leaders, and employees to ensure that important organizational information is communicated clearly and consistently. The role will involve preparing announcements, newsletters, presentations, employee communications, internal events, and engagement initiatives.

The Coordinator will also gather employee feedback, monitor communication effectiveness, and help improve internal information-sharing systems. Digital communication platforms, collaboration tools, employee portals, and other workplace technologies will form an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal communication activities across the organization.
  • Prepare employee announcements, newsletters, updates, and information materials.
  • Support management communication and organizational announcements.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, workshops, town halls, and employee events.
  • Maintain internal communication calendars and schedules.
  • Assist with employee-engagement programmes and workplace initiatives.
  • Collect employee feedback and identify recurring communication issues.
  • Coordinate information between HR, management, and departmental teams.
  • Support development of presentations and corporate communication materials.
  • Maintain organized records of internal communications.
  • Assist with employee portals, collaboration platforms, and digital communication systems.
  • Monitor engagement with internal communication initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to communication processes and workplace information-sharing.
  • Support organizational-change communication when new policies, systems, or procedures are introduced.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in corporate communications, HR, office administration, or employee engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and event-coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital collaboration platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to different audiences.
