Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous Compliance Specialist to support the development and maintenance of robust regulatory, governance, and internal-control frameworks within a rapidly evolving fintech environment. The role combines regulatory analysis, policy development, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.

The successful candidate will help ensure that products, processes, and business activities operate within applicable regulatory and internal requirements while supporting responsible innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital financial services and technology-driven business models.
• Conduct compliance assessments for new products, processes, partnerships, and operational initiatives.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, controls, and internal guidance.
• Support compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments, and remediation programmes.
• Work with Product, Legal, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Security teams to embed compliance considerations into business processes.
• Prepare management reports highlighting compliance risks, control gaps, and recommended actions.
• Maintain appropriate compliance documentation and evidence.
• Support training and awareness programmes for employees.
• Investigate potential policy breaches and coordinate corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of governance and compliance processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, financial services, fintech, banking, or regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of financial-services governance and internal controls.
• Relevant professional compliance or risk certification is advantageous.
