Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to build, maintain, and optimise secure and highly resilient cloud infrastructure supporting digital financial products.

The role will focus on infrastructure automation, reliability, scalability, observability, deployment engineering, and operational resilience within a demanding fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for financial applications.
• Build highly available environments capable of supporting transaction-intensive workloads.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and system-observability frameworks.
• Optimise cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers to improve application deployment processes.
• Establish disaster-recovery and business-continuity capabilities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Implement appropriate access controls and infrastructure-security mechanisms.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid and controlled software delivery.
• Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and technology modernisation.
• Document architecture, operational procedures, dependencies, and recovery processes.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of professional cloud or infrastructure-engineering experience.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with Linux, networking, containers, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or other regulated technology environments is advantageous.
