We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to transform business data into meaningful insights, develop reporting solutions, and help management make evidence-based strategic decisions.

About the Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will collect, analyse, and interpret business data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and support planning across the organisation. You will develop dashboards, maintain reporting processes, and work closely with stakeholders to define key performance indicators and improve the quality of business reporting.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with practical knowledge of reporting tools, data visualisation, and business performance measurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyse data from internal systems and relevant external sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, management reports, and performance monitoring tools.
• Use Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to present complex information clearly.
• Write SQL queries to extract, reconcile, and analyse data from relational databases.
• Define, track, and report key performance indicators across business functions.
• Identify trends, performance gaps, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for management and departmental stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, product, and technology teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Improve reporting accuracy by implementing data validation and quality-control procedures.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks and streamline existing analytical workflows.
• Document reporting definitions, data sources, assumptions, and calculation methods.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and data analysis techniques.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data visualisation tools.
• Understanding of key performance indicators, business metrics, and performance reporting.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; Estonian language skills are an advantage depending on stakeholder requirements.
