Role Overview
The Banking Operations Analyst will support the efficient execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of financial operations across digital and traditional banking processes. The role combines operational analysis, transaction monitoring, reconciliation, reporting, process optimization, and fintech-enabled automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily banking transactions and operational workflows.
• Analyze payment, transfer, settlement, account, and reconciliation activities.
• Investigate transaction exceptions, processing failures, and operational discrepancies.
• Perform account and transaction reconciliations and escalate unresolved variances.
• Prepare operational dashboards and management reports.
• Identify inefficient processes and recommend automation opportunities.
• Work with technology teams to improve banking workflows and operational systems.
• Monitor service-level performance and investigate recurring operational incidents.
• Support the implementation of new banking products and digital processes.
• Maintain accurate operational records and process documentation.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, compliance, customer service, technology, and payments teams.
• Contribute to business-continuity and operational-improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Experience in banking operations, fintech, payments, financial services, or transaction processing.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL or data-analysis experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Good understanding of banking processes, transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
