We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve the backend systems that support our payment services. You will work on secure transaction processing, payment integrations, and reliable financial infrastructure used by customers and business partners.

This role is suited to an engineer who values clean code, system reliability, security, and scalable software architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for payment processing.

• Build and integrate APIs for banks, payment service providers, and external financial platforms.

• Implement transaction validation, payment status management, and reconciliation workflows.

• Maintain secure data handling and reliable transaction processing.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve service availability.

• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and compliance teams.

• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or Node.js.

• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs and distributed services.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Understanding of asynchronous processing, message queues, and event-driven architecture.

• Familiarity with Git, automated testing, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and data protection.

• Professional working proficiency in English.
