A technology-driven financial services environment is looking for an Advanced Quantitative Risk Engineer to develop sophisticated risk-engineering systems supporting lending, payments, customer risk assessment, and financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design quantitative risk models for credit exposure, transaction risk, customer behavior, and portfolio performance.
• Build production-grade risk engines integrating statistical models, machine learning, behavioral signals, and financial data.
• Develop real-time scoring infrastructure capable of supporting automated financial decisions.
• Create simulation and stress-testing frameworks for evaluating portfolio and transaction-level scenarios.
• Analyze model performance, stability, drift, bias, and predictive accuracy.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to convert analytical models into scalable production services.
• Develop risk-monitoring dashboards and automated early-warning mechanisms.
• Establish rigorous model validation, documentation, testing, and governance processes.
• Support strategic decisions involving risk appetite, portfolio optimization, and financial-product development.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in quantitative finance, risk engineering, financial analytics, fintech, or a related discipline.
• Strong Python, SQL, statistics, and machine-learning capabilities.
• Experience with predictive modeling, time-series analysis, risk scoring, or financial forecasting.
• Strong understanding of financial products, transaction data, and quantitative risk methodologies.
• Experience deploying analytical models into production environments.
• Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly.
