Role Summary

We are looking for an Institutional Payments Relationship Specialist to support relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and business partners using digital payment services.

The successful candidate will act as a key contact for institutional payment enquiries, coordinate service-related matters, monitor client requirements, and work with internal operations and technical teams to ensure effective service delivery.

This role requires strong communication skills, an understanding of institutional payment processes, and the ability to manage professional relationships within a financial technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with institutional payment clients and business partners.

• Coordinate responses to client enquiries involving payment services and transaction processes.

• Understand client payment requirements and communicate them to internal teams.

• Monitor service delivery and identify issues affecting institutional customers.

• Coordinate with payment operations teams to investigate transaction-related concerns.

• Support client onboarding and the activation of institutional payment services.

• Maintain accurate client records, service updates, and relationship documentation.

• Arrange periodic service reviews and follow up on agreed action points.

• Identify opportunities to improve client experience and service efficiency.

• Communicate product updates and operational changes to relevant clients.

• Collaborate with compliance and technical teams when client requirements require specialist attention.

• Prepare relationship activity reports and monitor client service indicators.

• Support the resolution of escalated service issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Economics, or a related field.

• Experience in institutional banking, payment services, fintech account management, or corporate client support.

• Understanding of business payment processes and financial service operations.

• Strong relationship management and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and client management tools.

• Ability to understand client requirements and coordinate appropriate solutions.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
