Role Summary

The Banking-as-a-Service Implementation Consultant will coordinate the implementation of banking technology solutions for business clients and financial service partners. The position involves understanding client requirements, translating business needs into implementation plans and coordinating the configuration and integration of banking services.

The successful candidate will work with product managers, software engineers, banking operations and external partners to support the successful deployment of digital banking capabilities. The role requires an understanding of financial services, technical implementation processes and the operational requirements of banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of Banking-as-a-Service solutions for business clients and financial partners.

• Gather and analyse client requirements relating to digital accounts, payments and banking functionality.

• Translate business requirements into structured implementation plans and technical specifications.

• Coordinate API integration activities between banking platforms and client applications.

• Support the configuration of banking products, account services and transaction workflows.

• Work with engineering teams to investigate and resolve implementation-related technical issues.

• Manage implementation milestones and communicate project progress to relevant stakeholders.

• Assist clients with platform testing, configuration reviews and implementation validation.

• Maintain implementation documentation, technical records and operational handover materials.

• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure that relevant onboarding and operational requirements are addressed.

• Support the identification of integration gaps and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

• Organise implementation meetings and maintain effective communication with external partners.

• Assist with post-implementation reviews and the resolution of outstanding service issues.

• Identify opportunities to improve implementation procedures and reduce deployment delays.

• Contribute to the development of standard implementation frameworks and client onboarding processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Professional experience in fintech implementation, digital banking, financial technology consulting or technical project delivery.

• Understanding of Banking-as-a-Service, digital banking platforms and financial service integrations.

• Familiarity with APIs, integration documentation and technical implementation workflows.

• Knowledge of payment processing, financial accounts and banking operations.

• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical deliverables.

• Experience coordinating projects involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.

• Familiarity with project management tools and implementation tracking systems.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet implementation deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
