Role Summary

The Embedded Finance Product Specialist will support the development, enhancement, and operational management of embedded financial products designed for businesses and digital platforms.

The role involves analyzing product requirements, coordinating financial service integrations, evaluating customer needs, and supporting the development of product features that enable businesses to access financial capabilities through technology platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, engineers, payment specialists, and external financial partners to ensure that embedded finance solutions meet customer expectations and operational requirements.

This position requires a strong understanding of digital financial services, API-based products, payment infrastructure, and product development processes. The ideal candidate will combine financial technology knowledge with analytical and product coordination capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of embedded finance products across digital business platforms.

• Analyze business requirements relating to embedded payments, digital accounts, financial integrations, and transaction management.

• Coordinate product requirements with software engineering, design, and financial operations teams.

• Evaluate customer needs and identify opportunities to improve embedded financial service functionality.

• Support the integration of payment capabilities and financial services through APIs.

• Prepare product specifications, workflow documentation, and functional requirements.

• Monitor product performance and analyze adoption, transaction activity, and customer usage patterns.

• Collaborate with external financial institutions and technology partners during product implementation.

• Support product testing and validation before new features are released.

• Identify operational challenges affecting embedded financial services and recommend improvements.

• Review market developments and emerging embedded finance technologies.

• Assist in prioritizing product enhancements based on customer requirements and business objectives.

• Maintain product documentation covering functionality, integrations, and operational procedures.

• Work with compliance specialists to ensure product features align with applicable financial services requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• At least three years of experience in fintech product development, digital banking, payment technology, or financial services.

• Strong understanding of embedded finance, digital payments, and API-driven financial products.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, financial integrations, and digital banking infrastructure.

• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing product documentation.

• Understanding of payment processing, digital account services, and financial transaction workflows.

• Familiarity with product management tools and agile development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Ability to translate financial and technical requirements into practical product specifications.

• Knowledge of European financial services regulations is advantageous.

• Experience working with banking-as-a-service or payment-as-a-service platforms is beneficial.
