About the Company

We are a technology-driven financial services organisation building scalable payment infrastructure for businesses, financial institutions, and digital platforms. Our solutions support secure transaction processing, payment connectivity, and efficient financial operations across European markets.

We are expanding our payments platform capabilities and are looking for an experienced product leader to help shape the systems and integrations that underpin reliable, high-volume payment services.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for payment infrastructure, APIs, and third-party integrations. You will work at the intersection of product strategy, financial technology, and platform engineering to develop reliable, scalable, and commercially competitive payment capabilities.

The successful candidate will translate complex technical and business requirements into clear product priorities, manage relationships with payment partners, and drive improvements in platform performance, integration quality, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategic roadmap, and prioritisation framework for payment infrastructure and integration services.
  • Define requirements for payment APIs, transaction processing services, reconciliation capabilities, settlement workflows, and partner connectivity.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on platform scalability, reliability, security, and system interoperability.
  • Manage product integrations with payment service providers, acquiring banks, banking partners, and other financial infrastructure providers.
  • Define product requirements for API documentation, authentication, error handling, webhooks, versioning, and integration monitoring.
  • Evaluate technical dependencies, delivery risks, and commercial opportunities when prioritising platform initiatives.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs covering API availability, processing latency, transaction success rates, integration lead times, and service reliability.
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to investigate recurring integration issues and improve incident prevention and resolution.
  • Coordinate product discovery, technical planning, backlog prioritisation, release management, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Collaborate with compliance, information security, and risk teams to incorporate applicable regulatory and security requirements into product development.
  • Assess potential payment partners and infrastructure providers based on technical capability, service quality, commercial terms, and strategic fit.
  • Develop business cases and communicate product investment priorities to senior management.
  • Mentor product colleagues and promote effective product management practices across the payments organisation.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in product management, preferably involving payment platforms, financial APIs, banking technology, or payment service providers.
  • Strong understanding of payment infrastructure, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience defining API-based products and collaborating with engineering teams on complex technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Understanding of payment standards and technologies such as SEPA Credit Transfer, SEPA Instant Credit Transfer, and card payment processing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant European payment regulations and security requirements is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmaps, technical dependencies, partner relationships, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Strong commercial judgement, analytical capability, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Professional English proficiency; Estonian language skills are an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package reflecting seniority and relevant expertise.
  • Flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements, subject to business requirements.
  • An opportunity to shape payment infrastructure serving businesses across European markets.
  • Exposure to complex financial technology integrations and platform development.
  • Collaboration with experienced engineering, architecture, compliance, and commercial teams.
  • Professional development and opportunities to influence product strategy.
  • Career progression towards Head of Payments Product, Director of Product, or broader product leadership roles.
