Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android) to develop and maintain mobile applications across multiple platforms. You will help deliver new product features, improve existing application performance, and establish consistent engineering standards across the mobile development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have experience with native or cross-platform development and the ability to make informed technical decisions about application architecture, user experience, testing, and release management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain mobile application features for iOS and Android.
• Develop cross-platform applications using technologies such as Flutter or React Native, or contribute to native Swift and Kotlin codebases where appropriate.
• Translate product requirements and design specifications into responsive, accessible mobile experiences.
• Integrate REST APIs, push notifications, analytics services, and third-party libraries.
• Establish reusable components and shared development patterns to improve consistency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, backend engineers, and QA teams throughout the development cycle.
• Implement automated testing, participate in code reviews, and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Monitor application crashes, performance metrics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support continuous integration, automated builds, release testing, and app-store submission processes.
• Contribute to technical planning, architecture discussions, and decisions about native versus cross-platform implementation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional experience building and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Practical knowledge of Flutter and Dart, React Native and TypeScript, or native mobile technologies such as Swift and Kotlin.
• Experience consuming APIs, managing application state, handling asynchronous tasks, and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, responsive interface development, accessibility, and application security.
• Familiarity with automated testing, Git-based workflows, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across devices, operating systems, and application environments.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Professional working proficiency in English; Estonian language skills are an advantage.
