Position Overview

We are seeking a disciplined and analytical Forex Trader to execute foreign exchange trading strategies, monitor currency market movements, and identify opportunities across major, minor, and selected emerging-market currency pairs. The successful candidate will combine market knowledge, technical analysis, macroeconomic research, and rigorous risk management to support consistent trading performance.

This position is suited to a trading professional who understands market volatility, liquidity conditions, and execution quality and can make informed decisions in a fast-moving financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute foreign exchange trades in accordance with approved trading strategies, position limits, and risk parameters.

• Analyse currency pairs using technical indicators, price action, economic data, and macroeconomic trends.

• Monitor central bank decisions, inflation reports, employment data, interest-rate expectations, and geopolitical developments affecting currency markets.

• Identify potential trading opportunities through chart analysis, market structure, support and resistance levels, and trend assessment.

• Maintain accurate records of trading activity, trade rationale, position exposure, and performance.

• Apply stop-loss controls, position sizing techniques, and exposure limits to manage downside risk.

• Monitor spreads, liquidity, slippage, and execution quality across trading platforms.

• Prepare daily and periodic trading reports, highlighting performance, market conditions, and significant risk events.

• Collaborate with research, dealing, and risk teams to refine trading strategies and improve execution discipline.

• Maintain compliance with applicable Estonian and European Union financial-market requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience in forex trading, dealing, or a closely related financial-market role.

• Strong understanding of currency markets, trading sessions, liquidity, leverage, and foreign exchange pricing.

• Practical knowledge of technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and trading risk management.

• Familiarity with trading platforms, charting software, and market-data tools.

• Ability to interpret economic calendars and assess the potential market impact of financial announcements.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, emotional discipline, and the ability to operate under pressure.

• Professional communication skills and a commitment to ethical trading practices.
