About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cryptocurrency Protocol Engineer to contribute to the engineering of secure, scalable blockchain infrastructure and digital-asset protocols.

This is a hands-on, non-managerial engineering position for a technically strong professional who enjoys working with protocol logic, distributed systems, cryptographic primitives, and blockchain execution environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement blockchain protocol components and transaction-processing services.
• Develop and maintain integrations with major cryptocurrency networks and node infrastructure.
• Build reliable systems for transaction validation, confirmation tracking, and blockchain data processing.
• Investigate protocol-level issues, network behaviour, and transaction failures.
• Improve system performance, fault tolerance, and operational resilience.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
• Develop automated testing for protocol and transaction-processing workflows.
• Monitor emerging blockchain standards and evaluate their technical implications.
• Maintain high engineering standards across production cryptocurrency infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably involving blockchain or financial infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of blockchain architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with APIs, databases, message queues, and production backend services.
• Familiarity with cryptographic concepts including hashing and digital signatures.
• Strong understanding of software testing, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
