The Opportunity

We are seeking a Digital Asset Security Engineer to strengthen the security of cryptocurrency platforms, wallets, transaction services, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.

This is a specialist, non-managerial position combining application security, blockchain technology, secure software development, and threat analysis.

What You Will Work On

• Conduct security assessments of cryptocurrency applications, APIs, wallet services, and blockchain integrations.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities across backend systems and digital-asset infrastructure.
• Review smart-contract interactions and blockchain transaction flows for security weaknesses.
• Develop automated security testing and vulnerability-detection processes.
• Investigate suspicious transaction patterns and technical indicators of compromise.
• Support secure key-management and secrets-management practices.
• Conduct security-focused code reviews.
• Contribute to incident-response investigations involving digital-asset infrastructure.
• Maintain security documentation, technical controls, and remediation records.
• Work with software engineers to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or security engineering.
• Practical understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP, secure coding practices, API security, and cloud security.
• Experience with Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or comparable languages.
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers, nodes, wallets, smart contracts, and transaction mechanisms.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and secure key handling.
• Experience with penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or security automation.
• Strong investigative and technical documentation skills.

This role requires discretion, technical discipline, and a security-first approach. Experience with financial technology, cryptocurrency exchanges, payment infrastructure, or other high-value transaction environments is highly relevant.
