The Opportunity

An international financial technology environment is seeking a Blockchain Integration Engineer to develop and maintain secure integrations between blockchain networks and modern financial applications.

This is a hands-on engineering position for a professional who understands distributed systems and enjoys working on the technical infrastructure connecting blockchain technology with payments, financial accounts, digital assets, and enterprise applications.

You will contribute to integration architecture, blockchain connectivity, transaction processing, wallet infrastructure, API development, monitoring, and technical security.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between fintech platforms and blockchain networks.
• Build reliable APIs and backend services for blockchain-related financial applications.
• Implement transaction-monitoring and blockchain data-processing capabilities.
• Integrate blockchain nodes, wallets, custody infrastructure, and external service providers.
• Develop systems for monitoring blockchain transactions and transaction status.
• Support deposit, withdrawal, transfer, and settlement workflows involving digital assets.
• Investigate transaction failures, network issues, and integration problems.
• Improve the reliability and scalability of blockchain-connected services.
• Work with engineering and security teams to implement secure key and access-management practices.
• Develop automated tests for blockchain integrations and transaction workflows.
• Monitor production services and contribute to incident resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation covering integrations, APIs, and operational processes.
• Evaluate emerging blockchain technologies and assess their practical application within fintech systems.

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of software engineering or systems-integration experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• Practical knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with blockchain technologies, node infrastructure, wallets, or digital-asset platforms.
• Understanding of blockchain transactions, confirmations, network fees, and transaction lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerised environments.
• Strong knowledge of secure software-development principles.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong English communication skills.

Technical Advantage

Experience with Ethereum/EVM-based systems, smart-contract integrations, blockchain indexing, Web3 APIs, custody platforms, or institutional digital-asset infrastructure would be advantageous.
