A technology-driven financial services environment in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Data Strategist to lead the use of data across products, operations, customer intelligence, and financial decision-making.

This role is designed for an experienced data professional who can move beyond reporting and help establish a practical data strategy that improves product performance, operational efficiency, risk visibility, and customer outcomes.

What You Will Do

• Develop and execute data strategies aligned with fintech product and business objectives.
• Establish frameworks for collecting, structuring, governing, and analysing financial and customer data.
• Partner with product, engineering, risk, finance, and commercial teams to identify high-value data opportunities.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable business intelligence for senior stakeholders.
• Design KPIs and analytical frameworks for product performance, customer behaviour, transaction activity, and operational efficiency.
• Support predictive modelling and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Improve data quality, lineage, documentation, and governance across critical systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and analytical processes.
• Work with engineering teams to improve data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
• Monitor emerging applications of AI, machine learning, and real-time analytics within financial services.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, fintech, banking, technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial data and digital business models.
• Experience working with SQL, BI platforms, data warehouses, or cloud-based analytics environments.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong commercial awareness and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Python, machine learning, or statistical modelling is advantageous.
• Excellent professional English and strong stakeholder-management capabilities.
