Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fintech Platform Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain integrations connecting financial technology platforms, payment services, banking infrastructure, and internal applications.

The successful candidate will work across APIs, backend services, data flows, and third-party financial systems to ensure reliable communication between technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between fintech platforms and external services.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend integration services.
• Integrate payment gateways, banking services, identity platforms, and third-party financial providers.
• Monitor integration performance, reliability, and data consistency.
• Investigate API failures, transaction-processing issues, and system communication errors.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Work with engineering teams to define integration architecture and technical requirements.
• Develop automated tests for integration workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, services, and integration processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and external technology partners.
• Support production incidents involving integrations and transaction flows.
• Contribute to improvements in scalability, observability, and system resilience.

Technical Profile

• 4+ years of backend or integration-engineering experience.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, authentication, and web services.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Node.js, or C#.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and modern deployment practices.
• Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architectures, or distributed systems is advantageous.
• Experience integrating payment, banking, fintech, or financial APIs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of secure software-development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
