A rapidly evolving fintech environment in Estonia is seeking an experienced Director of Embedded Finance to lead the development and expansion of financial capabilities integrated directly into digital platforms and customer ecosystems.

This is a strategic leadership role combining financial services, product strategy, partnerships, technology, and commercial execution. The successful candidate will help define how financial products are distributed through modern digital channels.

The Role

You will establish the strategic direction for embedded financial services, working across product, engineering, partnerships, compliance, risk, and commercial teams to bring new propositions from concept to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the embedded-finance strategy across priority markets and customer segments.
• Identify opportunities involving payments, accounts, lending, cards, financial infrastructure, and related services.
• Develop commercial and partnership models with banks, payment institutions, technology providers, and other ecosystem participants.
• Lead the development of business cases, product propositions, and market-entry strategies.
• Work with product and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable financial technology solutions.
• Establish performance metrics covering revenue, adoption, customer experience, risk, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate regulatory, compliance, legal, and risk requirements throughout product development.
• Represent the organization in strategic discussions with external financial and technology partners.
• Identify new opportunities created by open banking, APIs, automation, and financial infrastructure.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience across fintech, banking, payments, financial infrastructure, or digital platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in financial products or technology-enabled financial services.
• Strong commercial, strategic, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience managing complex partnerships and cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of European financial-services environments.
• Excellent executive communication and negotiation skills.
