Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Architect to define and evolve technology architectures supporting modern financial platforms. The role will focus on designing resilient, scalable, secure, and interoperable systems for digital payments, financial data, customer platforms, and transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise and solution architectures for fintech products and platforms.
• Define scalable architectures for high-volume financial transactions.
• Establish technical standards for APIs, microservices, databases, messaging, and integrations.
• Evaluate architectural risks relating to availability, security, performance, and scalability.
• Work closely with engineering teams to translate architecture into production systems.
• Design integrations with banks, payment providers, financial-data platforms, and external technology services.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design assessments.
• Develop technology roadmaps aligned with product and business objectives.
• Support cloud-modernisation and platform-transformation initiatives.
• Establish resilience, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity requirements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify infrastructure and reduce technical debt.
• Produce detailed architecture documentation and technical decision records.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software, solution, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of payments, banking platforms, financial data, or fintech infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, databases, messaging, and integration patterns.
• Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Strong analytical and architectural problem-solving skills.
