Provide technical leadership for advanced data and artificial-intelligence capabilities supporting financial products, operational intelligence, customer analytics, and automated decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable data architectures supporting high-volume financial and transactional datasets.
• Lead the development of data pipelines, analytical platforms, machine-learning infrastructure, and intelligent financial applications.
• Establish engineering standards for data quality, lineage, reliability, security, and governance.
• Work with data scientists and product teams to deploy predictive models into production environments.
• Develop systems capable of processing structured and unstructured financial information efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and advanced analytics to customer intelligence, fraud detection, forecasting, and operational optimisation.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine their practical applicability to financial services.
• Establish monitoring frameworks for data pipelines and production machine-learning systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk teams to ensure responsible and secure handling of financial data.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction on complex architectural decisions.
• Conduct technical assessments of third-party data and AI platforms.
• Contribute to long-term technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience, including significant experience with data platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed data processing, APIs, databases, and machine-learning platforms.
• Understanding of financial datasets, transaction processing, or fintech environments.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and production engineering practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically complex initiatives.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
