We are seeking a technically capable and forward-thinking Cloud Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure and reliable cloud infrastructure supporting critical business applications and digital services.

The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure that cloud environments remain scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective.

The Role

As Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to the design and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.

You will automate infrastructure processes, monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and help establish engineering standards that improve reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based computing, storage, networking, and application services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor system availability, performance, and capacity.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Implement appropriate backup, recovery, and resilience measures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen cloud security.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software-delivery practices.
• Monitor cloud usage and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be technically curious, methodical, and comfortable working with modern cloud environments. You should have strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively across engineering and technology functions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems administration.
• Experience with platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of networking, operating systems, containers, and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or comparable technologies is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of security, monitoring, and reliability principles.
• Relevant cloud or infrastructure certifications are desirable.
