Role Overview
We are looking for a technically strong Engineer to develop and maintain software infrastructure supporting digital financial products, payment workflows, transaction processing, and data-intensive applications.

The position involves designing reliable services capable of handling sensitive financial information and high-volume transactions. The successful candidate will participate throughout the engineering lifecycle, from technical design and development to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and financial technology applications.
• Develop APIs supporting payment, account, transaction, and financial-data workflows.
• Design reliable systems capable of processing high volumes of transactions.
• Implement automated testing and contribute to engineering quality standards.
• Investigate technical incidents and identify permanent solutions to recurring issues.
• Work with cloud infrastructure, databases, monitoring systems, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to system-design decisions.
• Apply appropriate security principles when handling financial and customer data.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Maintain clear technical documentation for services and integrations.
• Research emerging technologies that could improve financial infrastructure.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Professional experience with backend or full-stack software development.
• Strong knowledge of programming, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern software-development practices.
• Understanding of security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, or comparable development tooling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
