ABOUT THE JOB
Senior Legal Counsel (in Retail and Investments Legal unit) has day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing and controlling all legal support related activities in assigned areas in the country and/or cross-countries ensuring compliance and alignment with all applicable EU and national legal requirements and Luminor Group policies, procedures and other internal documentation.
What You Will Do:
- Contribute to daily banking (such as cards, payments, accounts, digital channels) and other product development
- Provide legal support to other banking products and services related matters
- Provide legal opinions and provide consultations
- Participate in pan-Baltic projects, work in a pan-Baltic team
- Represent Luminor with cooperation partners, regulators and other organizations
What We Expect:
- Master’s degree in law or any related field
- Legal experience of 3-5 years, preferably in banking and finance
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently, follow deadlines and effectively manage time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High ethical standards, strong sense of responsibility and commitment to results
- Fluent English and Estonian are required in spoken and written communication
