Lead the development and execution of digital payments strategies for a fast-evolving financial technology environment in Estonia. This role is suited to an experienced fintech professional who can connect business strategy, payment infrastructure, customer needs, regulatory expectations, and emerging financial technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategies for digital payments, embedded finance, account-to-account transfers, and payment platforms.
• Evaluate emerging fintech technologies and assess their commercial and operational potential.
• Translate market trends and customer requirements into actionable product and business strategies.
• Work with product, technology, risk, compliance, finance, and operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
• Analyse payment performance, transaction trends, customer behaviour, and operational metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment conversion, transaction efficiency, and customer experience.
• Support partnerships with banks, payment institutions, technology providers, and other financial ecosystem participants.
• Prepare executive-level reports, business cases, investment assessments, and strategic recommendations.
• Monitor developments across the European payments landscape and incorporate relevant changes into strategic planning.
• Establish KPIs and performance frameworks for major fintech initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, consulting, digital finance, or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems and financial technology products.
• Excellent strategic thinking and commercial judgement.
• Experience working with cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating in an international and technology-driven environment.
• Knowledge of European financial services markets is highly advantageous.
