An opportunity is available for a highly capable Specialist to strengthen information-security operations and support the protection of digital systems, networks, applications, and organizational data. The position is suited to a cybersecurity professional who can combine technical knowledge with risk assessment, security monitoring, incident response, and security-awareness initiatives.

The successful candidate will work with IT teams, system administrators, software engineers, compliance professionals, and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture. The role will involve monitoring security events, investigating potential incidents, supporting vulnerability-management programmes, and helping implement appropriate security controls.

The Specialist will also contribute to security policies, employee awareness programmes, access-management procedures, and business-continuity initiatives. Strong analytical thinking and the ability to respond calmly to security incidents will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor information systems and security events for potential threats.
• Investigate security alerts, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
• Assist with identity, access, and privilege-management processes.
• Support endpoint, network, application, and cloud-security initiatives.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures.
• Participate in incident-response and business-continuity exercises.
• Support security awareness and employee training programmes.
• Review emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend appropriate controls.
• Collaborate with technical teams to integrate security into new systems.
• Contribute to risk assessments and information-security improvement programmes.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or professional qualification in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Practical experience in information security or IT security operations.
• Understanding of network security, endpoint protection, identity management, and cloud security.
• Strong analytical and investigative capabilities.
• Familiarity with security monitoring and vulnerability-management tools.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
