About the role
The team works closely with local stakeholders and SEB Group counterparts to ensure strong alignment with Group standards, regulatory expectations, and best‑practice risk management, while enabling transparent reporting and timely escalation of emerging risks.
We are now looking for a Senior Risk Officer with strong expertise in, who would play a key role in strengthening second line risk oversight across the Baltic banks.

Owning and continuously enhancing the identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and forward‑looking analysis of IRRBB/CSRBB, Market Risk and Liquidity Risk across the Baltics.

Providing independent oversight of IRRBB/CSRBB, Market Risk, and Liquidity Risk measurement and reporting, ensuring high data quality, strong controls, and timely escalation of issues.

Representing the risk function in change initiatives and projects, such as regulatory implementations and system enhancements, providing risk expertise and ensuring timely delivery across Baltics.

Ensuring that SEB Group standards and regulatory requirements are accurately implemented throughout the Baltic countries.

Collaborating closely with local stakeholders and SEB Group counterparts on IRRBB/CSRBB, Market, and Liquidity risk matters and related issues.

A university degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, risk management, or a related field.

Experience within IRRBB/CSRBB, Market Risk and Liquidity Risk in a banking or financial services environment.

Good understanding of regulatory and supervisory expectations related to IRRBB/CSRBB, market and liquidity risks, with deep knowledge of these risk types and key risk drivers.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and models, challenge assumptions, and draw forward‑looking conclusions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to collaborate across the Baltics and the wider SEB Group, with the ability to simplify complex risk topics to diverse audiences

A high sense of ownership and integrity, strong attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Fluency in English.
