Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Payments Operations Manager to oversee and optimise payment operations across digital financial platforms. The role will focus on transaction processing, payment performance, operational controls, reconciliation, settlement workflows, and continuous improvement of payment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily payment operations across multiple payment channels and transaction flows.
• Monitor transaction volumes, success rates, settlement cycles, reversals, refunds, and exceptions.
• Coordinate payment reconciliation between internal ledgers, banking partners, processors, and payment networks.
• Investigate failed, delayed, duplicated, or disputed transactions and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop operational procedures for payment processing, settlement, refunds, and exception management.
• Work closely with technology teams to identify payment-system defects and operational bottlenecks.
• Establish KPIs covering payment success rates, processing times, reconciliation accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation and integration of new payment methods and financial infrastructure.
• Maintain strong operational controls around transaction integrity and financial data.
• Prepare management reports and operational performance analysis.
• Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual payment-processing activities.
• Coordinate with compliance, risk, finance, customer operations, and external financial partners.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in payments, banking operations, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and settlement mechanisms.
• Experience with reconciliation, transaction monitoring, and payment investigations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of digital financial products and payment technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional fluency in English; Estonian or another European language is an advantage.
