About the role

As an Intellectual Property Counsel, you will act as the primary advisor on all IP matters . You will take ownership of global IP portfolio across 40+ markets, ensuring our brand, technology, and innovations are protected and support business growth.

You’ll work at the intersection of legal, product, and strategy, partnering closely with teams across the business

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Act as the primary legal advisor on all IP matters across , supporting business strategy, product development, and legal compliance.
  • Develop and implement Bolt’s IP strategy aligned with commercial, product, and expansion objectives.
  • Manage and develop the global IP portfolio, including trademarks, domains, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Lead and coordinate global IP filings, renewals, oppositions, and enforcement actions with external counsel.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related provisions across commercial, technology, supplier, and partnership agreements.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide proactive IP advice, identify risks and opportunities, and support scalable frameworks, policies, and governance.

 

About you

  • You are a qualified lawyer with a law degree from an EU university
  • You have proven experience in intellectual property law within international environments
  • You have experience managing trademark portfolios and IP disputes
  • You bring strong commercial judgement and can balance legal risk with business needs
  • You are confident working cross-functionally and communicate effectively
  • You are fluent in English and take a proactive, solution-oriented approach
