In this role, you will ensure precise payroll execution, effective employee expense management, and consistent accounting practices across entities, supporting reliable reporting and compliance in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities Payroll & People (core focus)

• Payroll Ownership Oversee payroll inputs, time-off data, and employee lifecycle flows.

• HR Partnership Partner closely with HR on contracts, residency, and taxation topics.

• Cross-Border Payroll CoordinationCoordinate with local payroll providers and manage payroll complexities across multiple countries.

• Employee Expenses Own employee expense process: travel reimbursements, per diems, and benefits-related costs.

• Financial Accuracy Ensure accurate accounting treatment of all people-related data.

Group Accounting & Operations

• Group Policy Alignment Ensure subsidiaries are aligned with group accounting policies and local GAAP.

• Period Closings Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

• External Accounting Partners Manage collaboration with external accounting and partners.

• Project Cost Tracking Support project cost tracking and ensure accurate time allocation.

• Audit ParticipationParticipate in statutory and group audits.

• Standardisation & Consistency Identify inconsistencies across countries and drive standardisation.

• Process Improvement Improve workflows, documentation, and audit trails to support compliance and scalability.

We Would Love You to Have

• Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

• ExperienceExperience working with accounting and people-related finance topics in an international environment, including exposure to multi-entity or cross-border operations.

• Technical SkillsFamiliarity with accounting principles and people-related finance processes, including payroll, employee expenses, and financial compliance.
