We are looking for an analytical International Payroll & Benefits Analyst to support payroll coordination and employee benefits administration across multiple jurisdictions. The position focuses on maintaining accurate compensation data, reviewing payroll outputs, coordinating with external payroll providers, and supporting consistent employee payment and benefits processes.
As organizations increasingly employ distributed teams, international payroll requires careful coordination between HR, finance, local service providers, and employees. The successful candidate will help ensure that payroll information is complete, deadlines are met, and differences in local payroll procedures are appropriately managed.
This opportunity is suited to a professional who enjoys working with financial data, coordinating cross-border processes, and improving the accuracy and consistency of employee compensation administration.

-
Collect, validate, and reconcile employee compensation information, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, allowances, and approved deductions.
-
Review payroll reports for inconsistencies, missing information, unusual variances, and discrepancies against approved employee records.
-
Maintain accurate records of employee benefits, pension contributions, insurance arrangements, leave-related adjustments, and other applicable compensation components.
-
Coordinate payroll inputs arising from new hires, promotions, salary reviews, transfers, and employment terminations.
-
Liaise with HR, finance, external payroll vendors, and benefits providers to resolve processing issues and clarify requirements.
-
Support monthly payroll reconciliation and assist with investigating differences between payroll outputs, payment instructions, and accounting records.
-
Prepare reports on payroll costs, benefits expenditure, headcount changes, and compensation-related trends.
-
Maintain documentation of payroll calendars, country-specific processing requirements, approval workflows, and vendor responsibilities.
-
Support periodic reviews of payroll-provider performance, processing accuracy, and adherence to agreed service standards.
-
Assist with the collection and validation of information required for payroll audits and statutory reporting.
-
Identify opportunities to standardize payroll workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual processing errors.
-
Handle personal and compensation data according to applicable privacy requirements and internal access-control policies.
Candidate Profile
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, or a related discipline.
-
Three or more years of experience in payroll, compensation administration, finance operations, or international HR services.
-
Experience coordinating with external payroll providers or supporting employees across more than one jurisdiction.
-
Strong knowledge of payroll reconciliation, compensation data management, benefits administration, and financial reporting.
-
Advanced spreadsheet skills; experience with HRIS, ERP, or payroll platforms is advantageous.
-
Ability to analyze payroll variances, identify errors, and present findings clearly.
-
Strong written English and professional communication skills; Estonian or additional European languages are an advantage depending on the assigned employee population.
-
Familiarity with GDPR and the handling of confidential employee data.
