Role Overview

We are looking for a RegTech Integration Specialist to design, implement, and maintain integrations between regulatory technology platforms and existing financial systems. The successful candidate will work across compliance applications, customer onboarding platforms, transaction monitoring solutions, and internal data environments to ensure reliable information exchange and effective compliance automation.

This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who understands APIs, data integration, and the operational requirements of regulated financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain integrations between RegTech platforms, banking systems, payment applications, CRM platforms, and customer onboarding tools.
• Analyse integration requirements and develop technical specifications for system connectivity.
• Configure and support REST APIs, webhooks, data feeds, and other approved integration mechanisms.
• Map and transform customer, transaction, screening, and compliance data between connected systems.
• Collaborate with developers, solution architects, compliance teams, and third-party technology vendors.
• Test integration workflows to verify data accuracy, completeness, reliability, and error handling.
• Investigate failed data transfers, system discrepancies, API errors, and integration performance issues.
• Support connections to identity verification, sanctions screening, AML monitoring, and regulatory reporting platforms.
• Implement appropriate logging, access controls, and error-monitoring procedures in line with security requirements.
• Assist with system upgrades, platform migrations, and the introduction of new compliance technology.
• Maintain integration documentation, data mapping specifications, and technical support procedures.
• Participate in user acceptance testing, release planning, and production deployment activities.
• Recommend improvements to integration architecture, operational reliability, and compliance data flows.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in systems integration, API implementation, technical consulting, or software engineering.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and system-to-system data exchange.
• Understanding of authentication methods, access permissions, and secure integration practices.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; knowledge of data transformation tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, middleware, or integration platforms is desirable.
• Understanding of financial services operations, AML/KYC workflows, or regulatory compliance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Estonian language skills are beneficial.
• Experience integrating compliance, identity verification, payment, or banking platforms is an advantage.
