ABOUT THE JOB

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer in our Payments & Cash Management team, you will play a key role in building and strengthening our internal Quality Engineering capabilities for critical payment flows. The role focuses on API and UI test automationCI/CD-driven regression testing, and increasing confidence in software releases through reliable and scalable test automation. This role is part of building stronger internal Payments QA automation capability and reducing long-term dependency on external manual testing.

How You Will Make an Impact:

 

  • Design, build and maintain automated tests for payment processing flows
  • Automate API, integration and UI regression scenarios
  • Work with developers, product owners, analysts and other QA engineers to define proper test coverage
  • Support end-to-end testing of complex payment journeys across channels and backend systems
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices
  • Improve test reliability, reduce flaky tests and help make automation trusted by the team
  • Support gradual reduction of dependency on external manual testing capacity
  • Participate in test planning, defect analysis, release readiness and production issue follow-up where needed

What Makes You a Great Fit:

 

  • Hands-on experience in QA automation
  • Good understanding of API testing and UI automation
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar
  • Experience with Postman, REST APIs, test data setup and defect analysis
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or similar
  • Ability to work with complex systems and multiple integrations
  • Practical mindset: automate what brings value, not everything blindly
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level and to ensure clear communication with engineering teams.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in banking, fintech or payments
  • Experience with performance testing or observability tools
  • Experience with Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent QA background.
