Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Product Owner to manage product requirements, prioritise development activities, and ensure that engineering teams deliver meaningful business value. You will act as the link between stakeholders and delivery teams, translating product objectives into clear, actionable requirements and maintaining a well-organised product backlog.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a practical understanding of Agile methodologies, and the ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritised, and aligned with business objectives.
• Gather requirements from customers, internal stakeholders, and business teams.
• Translate product needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and technical leads throughout the development lifecycle.
• Prioritise features, bug fixes, and technical improvements based on customer value, business impact, dependencies, and delivery effort.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Clarify requirements and resolve questions raised by engineering teams during implementation.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate user acceptance testing before product releases.
• Monitor delivery progress and communicate priorities, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Analyse user feedback and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support release planning, documentation, and post-launch evaluation.
• Ensure that delivered functionality meets agreed requirements and quality expectations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a comparable product delivery role.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, APIs, and digital product functionality is an advantage.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional English proficiency; Estonian language skills are beneficial.
