Position Overview

The successful candidate will engineer complex systems responsible for collecting, processing, validating, and distributing financial data across multiple services. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, financial infrastructure, data integrity, and platform scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance services for real-time financial-data ingestion and transaction processing.
• Engineer data pipelines handling transaction events from banking, payment, wallet, and financial-service systems.
• Build validation and normalization mechanisms for large volumes of financial records.
• Develop APIs and internal services that expose reliable financial data to applications and operational teams.
• Implement transaction matching, reconciliation, exception handling, and audit-trail capabilities.
• Optimize database queries, application performance, message processing, and distributed workloads.
• Design resilient systems capable of recovering from failed transactions, service interruptions, and integration errors.
• Introduce automated controls for data quality, transaction integrity, and operational monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers and security teams to establish secure financial-data architectures.
• Participate in architectural decisions involving cloud infrastructure, distributed computing, event streaming, and platform modernization.

Technical Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, with substantial experience in complex backend or platform engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Kotlin, Go, C#, or Python.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Experience with Kafka or comparable event-streaming technologies.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, API architecture, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
• Understanding of financial data models, transaction processing, reconciliation, or payment systems.
• Strong testing, debugging, performance-optimization, and system-design capabilities.
