Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal to lead the design and evolution of technology-driven financial-crime prevention capabilities across digital financial platforms. The role sits at the intersection of fintech, transaction intelligence, fraud technology, regulatory operations, and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design strategic frameworks for detecting and preventing sophisticated financial crime across digital channels.
• Develop technology-led approaches to transaction monitoring, fraud detection, customer-risk assessment, and behavioral analytics.
• Evaluate emerging technologies capable of improving financial-crime detection and investigation.
• Partner with engineering teams to translate financial-crime requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Analyze transaction patterns and emerging typologies to identify weaknesses in existing controls.
• Develop performance frameworks for monitoring detection accuracy, alert quality, investigation efficiency, and operational risk.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology investments supporting financial-crime prevention.
• Coordinate initiatives involving machine learning, rules engines, behavioral intelligence, and automated case management.
• Establish methodologies for continuously improving detection models and investigative workflows.
• Support cross-functional initiatives involving compliance, cybersecurity, data science, product, and operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience across fintech, banking technology, fraud, financial crime, risk, or regulatory technology.
• Strong understanding of transaction-monitoring and fraud-detection technologies.
• Experience working with data analytics, automation, or machine-learning applications.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
