A senior engineering position focused on designing and developing high-performance payment infrastructure for modern financial platforms. The role requires strong expertise in distributed systems, transaction processing, and secure financial APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop real-time payment-processing services for domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Build resilient microservices for payment initiation, authorization, routing, settlement, and transaction status management.
  • Implement idempotency, retry mechanisms, transaction locking, and failure-recovery strategies.
  • Develop secure APIs connecting payment platforms with banks, payment providers, wallets, and external financial services.
  • Engineer event-driven workflows using Kafka or comparable messaging technologies.
  • Optimize services for high transaction throughput, low latency, and continuous availability.
  • Develop automated reconciliation and exception-management processes.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, tracing, and operational alerting.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, code reviews, and production incident resolution.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or C#.
  • Advanced knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs, SQL, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
  • Background in payments, banking infrastructure, digital wallets, or financial transaction systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
