Role Summary

The Payment Product Implementation Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of payment product implementations across digital financial platforms and merchant environments.

The position involves translating business requirements into implementation plans, coordinating technical integrations, managing product deployment activities, and ensuring that new payment capabilities meet operational and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, software engineers, payment operations, compliance specialists, and external partners to deliver effective payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of payment products across digital platforms, merchant applications, and financial service environments.

• Develop implementation plans covering product configuration, technical integration, testing, and deployment activities.

• Gather and document payment product requirements from internal stakeholders and external business partners.

• Work with engineering teams to coordinate API integrations and payment gateway configurations.

• Monitor implementation progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate payment functionality before production releases.

• Identify implementation risks, technical dependencies, and operational challenges requiring attention.

• Collaborate with payment operations teams to establish effective transaction monitoring and settlement procedures.

• Support the launch of new payment methods and improvements to existing payment capabilities.

• Maintain implementation documentation, product specifications, and operational readiness records.

• Coordinate communication between technical teams, product stakeholders, and external payment partners.

• Review implementation outcomes and recommend improvements to delivery processes.

• Support post-deployment monitoring and coordinate the resolution of product-related issues.

• Ensure implementation activities reflect relevant security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in payment product implementation, fintech project delivery, or digital financial services.

• Strong understanding of payment processing, payment gateways, and merchant payment solutions.

• Experience coordinating technology implementations and cross-functional projects.

• Familiarity with API integrations and financial platform connectivity.

• Knowledge of agile project management and product development processes.

• Experience coordinating software testing and deployment activities.

• Strong stakeholder management and organisational capabilities.

• Ability to identify implementation risks and manage competing priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional proficiency in English.
