We are looking for an Open Banking Integration Engineer to develop reliable connections between financial institutions, fintech platforms, payment services, and digital applications.

This role is centered on the engineering challenges behind modern account connectivity: APIs, authentication, consent, data exchange, transaction services, reliability, and integration monitoring.

You will join a technical environment where integration quality directly affects the performance and reliability of financial products.

Your Engineering Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations with banking and financial-service APIs.
• Build reliable services for account information and payment-related workflows.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and consent-management processes.
• Develop resilient integration layers capable of handling third-party API variations.
• Monitor integration health, latency, availability, and error rates.
• Investigate failed requests, inconsistent responses, and data synchronization issues.
• Build automated testing for critical financial integrations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to introduce new financial connectivity capabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Improve observability and incident-response processes for external integrations.
• Participate in architectural discussions concerning scalability, security, and reliability.
• Evaluate new financial APIs and integration technologies.

Technical Experience

Strong experience with several of the following:

• Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or comparable backend technologies
• REST APIs and API lifecycle management
• OAuth 2.0 and modern authentication mechanisms
• JSON and structured data formats
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• Event-driven systems
• Cloud infrastructure
• Automated testing and CI/CD
• Monitoring and observability platforms
• Secure software-development practices

Experience with open banking, payment APIs, account aggregation, financial-data connectivity, or European financial infrastructure will be highly valuable.
