Role Overview

We are seeking an innovative Machine Learning Engineer to develop intelligent systems supporting data-driven decision-making across financial technology products and operations.

This role will focus on transforming complex datasets into scalable machine-learning solutions capable of improving forecasting, automation, customer intelligence, risk analysis, and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product teams, and business stakeholders to move analytical models from experimentation into reliable production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine-learning models for financial and operational applications.
• Build scalable pipelines for model training, testing, and deployment.
• Analyse structured and unstructured datasets to identify predictive patterns.
• Develop solutions supporting forecasting, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation.
• Optimise machine-learning models for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to improve data availability and quality.
• Deploy and monitor models within production environments.
• Establish processes for model validation and performance monitoring.
• Conduct experiments and evaluate emerging machine-learning techniques.
• Translate business problems into measurable machine-learning solutions.
• Document models, methodologies, and technical processes.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure responsible and effective model implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with machine-learning frameworks and data-processing technologies.
• Strong understanding of statistics, predictive modelling, and data analysis.
• Experience deploying models into production environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
