Description

ABOUT THE JOB

Join us for a 6-month paid full-time internship and step into the dynamic world of modern banking. You’ll contribute to real projects, collaborate with colleagues across the Baltics, and build practical skills through meaningful, hands-on work. It’s your chance to grow, learn, and make an impact.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Support the ICT and security risk assessment cycle — collect evidence, check control descriptions against what is actually in place, and record the result
  • Maintain risk and control records in the bank’s risk management system, keeping owners, dates and statuses accurate
  • Prepare quarterly risk indicator reporting: pull the data, check it against thresholds, chase missing collections, and produce the reporting tables
  • Track remediation plans and their milestones, follow up with plan owners, and flag where a date is at risk before it is missed
  • Map regulatory requirements (DORA and its technical standards, EBA guidelines, internal policy) to existing controls and identify where coverage is missing
  • Assist in automating recurring reporting and data-quality checks through scripting
  • Produce documentation — procedures, guidelines, reporting packs, meeting summaries
  • Arrange and participate in calls with control owners, IT teams and second-line risk, and drive the follow-up
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the three Baltic countries on both a scheduled and ad-hoc basis
  • Contextually self-learn new regulatory and technical areas within the shortest time

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Basic understanding of risk management concepts — risk, control, likelihood and impact, first and second line of defence
  • Basic awareness of IT and information security domains (access management, vulnerability management, backup and recovery, change management, third-party risk)
  • Basic knowledge of information security and IT governance frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, COBIT or similar); familiarity with DORA is an advantage
  • Comfortable working with data in spreadsheets; basic scripting skills for handling and checking datasets
  • Precision with detail — reporting is only useful if the numbers are right
  • Ability and willingness to learn quickly and adapt to work in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize and structure own work schedule
  • Ability to take initiative and communicate clearly
  • Preferred education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Finance or a related field
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level

Why You Will Love Working Here:

  • 6 months duration with a possibility to extend it for another 6 months, full-time (40 hours a week)
  • Starting as soon as possible
  • Flexibility. Flexible working hours and Hybrid work
  • International teams. Teams that go outside Pan-Baltic borders, where people value challenging work together with good humor and having fun

  • Educational & Leadership sessions during the programme. Access to resources & workshops that help to be productive at work and in life, while also being educational
  • Prolong your stay. Possibility to prolong the contract after the internship if that is available
  • Volunteer time off. We care about giving back to society, therefore, you will get additional days off for volunteering purposes
