A technology-driven financial services organisation in Estonia is seeking an accomplished FX Quantitative Analyst to develop analytical models and data-driven frameworks supporting foreign-exchange pricing, risk management, and trading operations.

This role sits at the intersection of quantitative finance, market data, statistical modelling, and financial technology, offering an opportunity to work on complex problems within a sophisticated FX environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop quantitative models for FX pricing, volatility, liquidity, and market behaviour.
• Analyse large financial datasets to identify market patterns and trading-related insights.
• Build statistical and predictive models supporting pricing and risk processes.
• Conduct research into currency-market dynamics and execution quality.
• Develop analytical tools for scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk assessment.
• Work closely with trading, engineering, risk, and treasury teams.
• Validate model assumptions and monitor model performance.
• Improve data pipelines used for quantitative research and financial analytics.
• Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous development of the organisation’s quantitative research capabilities.

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in quantitative finance, financial modelling, trading analytics, or a related field.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL capabilities.
• Solid understanding of probability, statistics, time-series analysis, and financial mathematics.
• Knowledge of FX markets, derivatives, volatility, and liquidity concepts.
• Experience working with large financial datasets.
• Strong analytical reasoning and attention to model quality.
• Excellent English communication skills.
