An international financial-technology environment in Estonia is seeking an FX Compliance Specialist to support compliance operations across foreign-exchange products, customer activity, transaction monitoring, and regulatory processes.

This is a specialist position for a professional who combines strong analytical judgement with knowledge of financial-services compliance and a disciplined approach to regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Review customer and transaction activity against established compliance controls.
• Support KYC and customer due-diligence processes.
• Analyse alerts generated through transaction-monitoring systems.
• Investigate unusual or potentially suspicious activity and escalate cases appropriately.
• Assist with sanctions and screening processes.
• Maintain accurate compliance case records and supporting documentation.
• Support periodic reviews of customer accounts and transaction activity.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, customer-service, and technology teams.
• Contribute to improvements in compliance procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to FX and financial services.
• Prepare clear case summaries and compliance documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Professional experience in financial-services compliance, AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with Forex, brokerage, payments, banking, or fintech environments.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation standards.
• Understanding of AML/CFT principles, sanctions screening, and customer due diligence.
• Comfortable working with compliance-monitoring and case-management systems.
• Strong written and verbal English.
• Relevant compliance certification or professional qualification is advantageous.
