Role Summary

The Forex Trading Platform Integration Engineer will help implement, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between FX trading platforms and supporting financial technology systems. The role combines software integration, technical investigation, and collaboration with trading operations to ensure that platform components communicate reliably.

The successful candidate will support integration projects, investigate connectivity and data-flow issues, and improve the stability of trading technology. This position is suited to an engineer with a practical understanding of software interfaces and an interest in the technical foundations of forex trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrations between FX trading platforms, liquidity services, and internal applications.

• Configure and test interfaces used to exchange trading, pricing, account, and transaction data.

• Investigate integration failures, message inconsistencies, connectivity interruptions, and data-processing errors.

• Work with platform vendors and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

• Support testing of platform upgrades, new integrations, and changes to trading workflows.

• Create and maintain technical documentation covering interfaces, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and response times.

• Assist with the implementation of logging, alerting, and diagnostic tools for trading services.

• Participate in incident reviews and help implement corrective actions to reduce recurring problems.

• Coordinate with trading operations to validate that technical changes meet operational requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in software integration, backend engineering, systems engineering, or technical support for financial platforms.

• Familiarity with APIs, data formats, authentication methods, and service-to-service communication.

• Understanding of forex trading platforms or financial transaction workflows.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using logs, system metrics, and structured data.

• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language used for integration work.

• Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage technical tasks independently while collaborating with distributed teams.

• Experience with FIX protocol, trading platform APIs, SQL, or cloud-based services is an advantage.
