A fast-evolving financial technology environment requires precise control over liquidity, settlement flows, and daily treasury activity. We are seeking a Fintech Treasury Operations Specialist to support the operational side of digital financial services and ensure that funds move accurately and efficiently across banking, payment, and settlement channels.

This is a specialist opportunity for a finance professional who combines strong numerical discipline with an understanding of modern payment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions, settlement movements, and operational funding requirements across financial accounts.
• Track incoming and outgoing payment flows and investigate unusual balances, settlement delays, or unexplained movements.
• Support daily liquidity monitoring and provide accurate treasury information to finance and operations teams.
• Reconcile banking transactions, payment processor reports, and internal financial records.
• Assist with settlement preparation, payment scheduling, and transaction verification.
• Maintain accurate treasury records and prepare recurring operational reports.
• Identify recurring settlement issues and recommend improvements to treasury workflows.
• Coordinate with banking partners, payment providers, finance teams, and internal operations functions when resolving transaction issues.
• Support month-end and period-end treasury reporting activities.
• Contribute to the development of stronger controls around digital financial transactions and cash management.

Candidate Profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Experience in treasury operations, banking operations, payments, reconciliation, or financial services.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills; familiarity with financial systems or payment platforms is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial transactions.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Understanding of European payment infrastructure and SEPA transactions is beneficial.
