Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fintech Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and improve software applications that support modern financial services. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of secure, scalable, and reliable systems for digital payments, financial transactions, account management, and financial data processing.

This role is suited to an engineer who combines strong software development skills with an understanding of financial technology, API integrations, and secure application architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for digital financial services.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs connecting payment systems, banking platforms, and third-party financial services.
• Implement secure transaction processing, account management, and financial data workflows.
• Identify and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.
• Collaborate with product, design, compliance, and quality assurance specialists to deliver reliable features.
• Apply secure coding practices, automated testing, version control, and continuous integration.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Monitor application performance and support continuous improvements to system reliability.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least three years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, C#, or TypeScript.
• Experience with relational databases, API development, and distributed application environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of authentication, encryption, access controls, and secure financial data handling.
• Knowledge of payment processing, digital banking, or financial transaction systems is an advantage.
