  • Review transaction patterns and operational data to identify potential anomalies and control exceptions.
  • Support risk assessments for new fintech products, features, integrations, and operational processes.

  • Collaborate with compliance, finance, technology, product, operations, and security teams to resolve identified control gaps.
  • Assist with internal control testing and evidence collection.
  • Analyze incidents and operational exceptions to identify root causes and recurring patterns.
  • Contribute to business continuity and operational resilience initiatives.
  • Help establish measurable control indicators and monitoring routines.
  • Prepare clear reports and recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
  • Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal assurance activities.
  • Continuously improve risk and control processes as the fintech environment evolves.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in fintech, payments, banking, financial services, risk, compliance, audit, or another highly regulated operational environment.

You should demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of operational risk and internal controls.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational information accurately.
  • Experience documenting procedures, controls, and risk assessments.
  • Strong attention to detail and investigative thinking.
  • Confidence working with multiple business functions.
  • Good understanding of digital financial products and transaction lifecycles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • A structured approach to identifying problems and documenting solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations affecting European financial services is advantageous.

Technical & Professional Environment

Experience with Excel, data-analysis tools, reporting platforms, GRC systems, payment-processing environments, CRM platforms, or transaction-monitoring systems will be valuable. Exposure to automation, APIs, digital wallets, card payments, open banking, or other fintech infrastructure would also be beneficial.

What You Will Bring
