Role Summary

The Fintech Revenue Assurance Analyst will monitor revenue flows across financial products, payment channels, and customer accounts. The role focuses on identifying revenue leakage, investigating discrepancies between transaction records and financial systems, and supporting the implementation of effective revenue controls.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to validate revenue data, investigate billing and settlement differences, and recommend process improvements. This position requires analytical discipline, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage detailed reviews in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor revenue transactions across digital financial products, payment channels, and service offerings.

• Reconcile revenue records between transaction platforms, billing systems, payment processors, and finance systems.

• Investigate discrepancies involving fees, commissions, transaction charges, refunds, and adjustments.

• Identify potential revenue leakage, incorrect pricing applications, and incomplete transaction postings.

• Prepare revenue assurance reports and communicate material findings to relevant stakeholders.

• Support periodic reviews of revenue recognition processes and related operational controls.

• Collaborate with finance, payments, product, and engineering teams to resolve identified issues.

• Maintain documentation of assurance procedures, control results, and corrective actions.

• Analyze recurring discrepancies and recommend improvements to systems or business processes.

• Support the development of automated checks and monitoring routines where appropriate.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.

• Experience in revenue assurance, financial reconciliation, billing analysis, finance operations, or a similar role.

• Understanding of transaction-based revenue models, payment fees, commissions, and financial controls.

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting or data analysis tools.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify the underlying cause of financial variances.

• Experience using SQL, business intelligence tools, or financial systems is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate financial records.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage recurring deadlines, and work independently.

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other technology-driven financial services is beneficial.
